Andreea is a multi-talented actress born in Sibiu, Transilvania. She studied Performing Arts (Classical Acting, BA, Hons) at the best and most reputable drama school that Romania has to offer - The Caragiale Academy of Theatre and Film (UNATC I.L. Caragiale) and graduated the second one at the top, with distinction. She then took a masterclass in Acting for Film and Television and a few intensive film workshops in directing.
Her continuous need for development has brought her to London, where she studied Classical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She also took classes in Meyerhold and Biomechanics, attended various Devising Theatre workshops at Bristol Old Vic, and completed many other short courses and online classes like writing and poetry.
As an actress, her previous work includes performances in prestigious theatres in Bucharest like Odeon Theatre, Podul Theatre; movie productions & TV series: Shall We Kiss (HBO Original); Miss Christina (feature film); Motherland (feature film); The Nostalgic Mechanics of Randomness (short); Our Loop (short); A lost letter (The Cultural Channel); The Calling (documentary) and many others; she has also participated/acted in many circus shows; street performances and international art events;
Andreea found an independent way to express herself through film & photography, constantly updating her set of skills. As a director, her first production was presented at Cinema Elvira Popescu in Bucharest, as part of the BIEFF - Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival. She is the Founder of The Artistation, an ART-FILM-MEDIA studio, website & international database for performing arts. Her other activities include working as a manager for Artists, Events & Festivals.
Previous to her artistic life, Andreea got a degree in Project Management from The Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest (BA, Hons, ASE Bucharest). She specialized in Cultural Management.
With five years of experience working as Manager of Entertainment for a festival in Romania, Andreea created multiple productions with international artists as well as facilitated countless acts, performances& workshops in Europe & Asia. Due to her commitment to delivering the extraordinary, she became a talent scout and is now working with other performers & designers, collaborating on various projects as an artist but also as a producer.
